Hockey Night/Court

Sorry for not putting more updates and/or quicker updates. The internet frequently goes down and when its up we're at the baby house (go figure). When it is up, there is a mad dash for the 2 computers that are probably 10 years old. So anyway, hockey night was a lot of fun although the home team lost 2-0. Everyone seemed to have a nice time and it was nice to get out for a couple of hours.
Court for us was on Thursday March 6th. Everything went well and we were very relieved. It was an emotional landmark for us. We were excited, relieved, happy, and emotional all at the same time. The 15 day waiting period is now in day 3 for us. After 15 days, we can bring her back to the hotel. We are anxiously awaiting that date of course...... After that, the paperwork for us to leave can begin and we can look forward to returning home.
As I write this, most everyone has returned home to the U.S. We hope that everyone made it home safely to their families. Some will be turning around and coming back in two weeks. Of course without Amy here it just isn't the same.....
Dana has been battling some type of sickness the last few days. Nora has been pretty much sick the whole time we've been here. I battled some home sickness yesterday but am better today. When we left the baby house today, Nora cried as we left her - a good day believe it or not......
Hope all is well back home, we'll write more as we can!!

Home misses you guys too! March madness begins in a week Dan says. Favorites are Memphis, UNC, Duke, Butler, and MSU. There is alot of CUBS Kool-AID on sale this week. In other news on the Cubs; discussions have begun on rehabbing the entire interior of Wrigley and where they may play during renovation....maybe south side. We love you and miss you.

...and the March Madness will end when all your exit paperwork has been completed, and you are able to return to the US with your little one (i.e. hope it ends before March 31).

Congratulations on surviving the bonding period, court, and the "process", so far.

AAAAWWWWW!!! You guys make me blush! It isn't the same without you two as well! I got in a car yesterday and I wasn't sitting on Dana's lap....it was weird?!? It is good to hear that Nora is doing so good and really bonding so well. Crying it can be a good thing...funny huh? Hope you all feel better soon. I miss my little girl a lot so give her a squeeze when you see her for me!

Amy, Today was Jill's 14th day, can you believe it? Both Leah and Luke are here at the Hotel. Those are 2 tired looking parents!!

Matthew and Suzanne here is my email: bspyker2000@yahoo.com - I can't copy and paste your email address and it won't let me just type in your address.
As I have said, the internet comes and goes.....
I don't know how long we'll be here but probably a little more than 3 weeks I guess.

I will do it for you Amy, she got something today from you.
Take care, Bill

Just popped in to read your BLOG. We are readers of Philip and Amanda's BLOG and saw your post. We are Irish but made our home in Toronto, Canada when we were in our 20s. Your daughter is beautiful! Our son Orin is from Almaty region and we brought him home in June 2006. Just wanted to let you know that we have one of the Kaz NHL players here in Toronto with the Maple Leafs - Nik Antropov and he is from Ust!! A much loved player and one of our best scorers!! (God knows the Leafs need all the scorers they can get)

The Keogh's in Toronto.
